John Henry Moulton

Founder & Managing Partner

John Henry Moulton is the founder and Managing Partner of WayPoint Capital Partners and sits on the investment committee.

Prior to founding WayPoint in 2004, John Henry worked at Veronis Suhler Stevenson and Hewlett-Packard. John Henry formerly served on boards of Francis Drilling Fluids, PS Logistics, and Harper Love.

John Henry serves as a trustee and is a member of the investment committee of a multi-billion single-family office. On non-profit boards, he serves as a trustee on the Committee for Trustees at the College Foundation Board of the University of Virginia and is an advisory board member for Andover Bread-Loaf.

• John Henry received a JD from Santa Clara Law School and BA from University of California, Berkley.

Philip Edmunds

Managing Partner

Philip is Managing Partner of WayPoint Capital Partners and sits on the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining WayPoint in 2014, Philip was an Associate at DW Healthcare Partners and an Analyst at Deloitte Consulting LLP. Philip currently serves on the board of AMX Cooling & Heating, B&P Littleford, Synergy Medical Solutions, Greenshades, Inception Fertility and DME Express and was previously a board member of OneHome and a board observer of Harper Love and PS Logistics. Philip also serves as an independent director of Sage Health.

• Philip received a BA from Kenyon College.

Carina Chan Smith

Principal

Carina is a Principal of WayPoint Capital Partners.

Prior to joining WayPoint in 2018, Carina was an Associate at ShawKwei & Partners and Investment Banking & Capital Markets Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities. Carina currently serves on the board of AMX Cooling & Heating and Synergy Medical Solutions, and she serves as a board observer of Tarro and DME Express. Carina was previously a board observer of OneHome.

• Carina received a BA and BS from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Kevin Collins, CFA

Principal

Kevin is a Principal at WayPoint Capital Partners.

Prior to joining WayPoint in 2022, Kevin was a Principal at Graycliff Partners, a Vice President at GHK Capital Partners, and an Associate at Goldman Sachs Special Situations Group. Kevin began his career at Fidelity Investments. Kevin currently serves on the board of B&PL Littleford, and board observer of Greenshades. Kevin formerly served on the board of Dura Supreme Cabinetry, and Brown & Settle.

• Kevin received a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Columbia University. He is a CFA charter holder.

Ben Daniel

Associate

Ben is an Associate at WayPoint Capital Partners.

Prior to joining WayPoint in 2024, Ben began his career as an Analyst at Solomon Partners.

• Ben received a B.S. from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Gabrielle Priest

Gabby Priest is an Associate at WayPoint Capital Partners.

Prior to joining WayPoint in 2025, Gabby worked on the M&A team at Rabobank and the Strategy and Transactions team at EY.

Doug Wells

Vice President, Finance

Doug is the Vice President of Finance at WayPoint Capital Partners.

Prior to joining WayPoint in 2023, Doug was a director at KPMG in the Transaction Advisory group and an associate at PwC.
